Jay, also known as Jamal, is a 2025 graduate of AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Originally from the suburbs of Ellicott City, Maryland, Jay didn’t start performing until he was dared into it at 17 — and he hasn’t stopped since. While at AMDA, he performed in a production every semester, sharpening his skills in acting, singing, and dance. Before graduating, Jay booked a contract with Disney Cruise Line as a dancer and character performer with the third cast of the Disney Treasure and is now working on the Disney Magic 53. He performed in shows like The Tale of Moana, Tangled, Twice Charmed, Disney Dreams, Seas The Adventure, Mickey’s Color Spin, Pirate Parlay and more! Known for his goofy personality and love of hip hop classes, Jay brings humor and heart to every role he takes on. When he’s not performing or modeling, you might find him bartending, exploring coffee shops, hosting an event, or most likely eating his weight in BBQ food. Always striving for growth, Jay approaches his career with focus and discipline, driven by a commitment to greatness both on and off the stage.
